Main Functions:

1. Making overall plans for and coordinating the CCPIT's legal work and public legal services.

2. Supervising and streamlining the commercial law service system of CCPIT.

3. Participating in the legislation of China's foreign economic and trade laws and regulations & international economic and trade rules and taking part in foreign economic and trade negotiations.

4. Setting up the early warning mechanism for economic and trade frictions and dealing with related cases.

5. Organizing and coordinating the industries' participation in the trade remedies and anti-monopoly investigations.

6. Participating in WTO affairs in coordination with government bodies.

7. Participating in the construction of the international dispute resolution mechanism.

8. Coordinating and supervising the educating and training for international economic and trade laws and regulations.

9. Other matters assigned by CCPIT
